How to Keep Hawaii Wedding Flowers From Wilting

Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on earth to have a wedding.  Hawaiian wedding flowers add to that beauty so the last thing you want is for them to wilt before your wedding.  Here are a few tips on how to keep your wedding flowers from wilting in Hawaii.

  • Don't Spritz Them with Water - Many times you'll hear a well meaning family member say to spritz your Hawaii wedding flowers with water..don't! The direct sunlight will burn that water and your Hawaiian flowers will turn brown.  Keep your summer wedding flowers ultra-cool before the ceremony, perhaps popping all of your bouquets into the refrigerator between the pre-wedding photos and when you depart for the ceremony.
  •  Transport Them in a lot of Water - Set all the bouquets upright in a container with a few inches of water for the stems to drink from.
  • Spray your wedding bouquet with a sealant spray - The sealant spray prevents water from evaporating. Water evaporation is what causes wilting.

We're these tips helpful?  If you're looking for a Hawaii wedding florist I know several who will ensure your Hawaiian wedding bouquets stay fresh and beautiful. Please give me a call to discuss.
