Beautiful Hawaii Wedding Hair Ideas

Brides from all over the world grace us with their weddings here in Hawaii.  Regardless of where a bride comes from, I'm seeing a 2012 wedding trend...in hairstyle.

The updo is a common Hawaii wedding hairstyle simply because of Hawaii's heat.  Good thing wedding hair stylists have come up with some amazingly, unique ideas so that each bride can stand out as one of a kind.

Are you looking for a hairstylist for your Hawaii wedding?  As a Hawaii wedding planner, I have several professionals in my book that I will be happy to connect you with.  Simply give me a call and let's chat.

Which of these Hawaii wedding updos are your favorites?

Best Day of the Week to get Married in Hawaii

With more than 25,000 people getting married in Hawaii annually, this means that choosing (and confirming) your Hawaii wedding date is best done sooner than later.

So, is there a particular day of the week or month of the year that's more popular than others? Here's a breakdown:

  • Monday or Tuesday -  Both days are ideal, as you can get your marriage license and exchange vows the same day.
  • Wednesday or Thursday - These are days you'll find fewer people on the beaches, as weekends (including long weekends; Monday, Tuesday and Friday) typically draw larger crowds.
  • Friday - A Hawaii wedding on Friday makes it more convenient for others to join you. Starting the weekend early is typically easier than taking an entire week off work. Friday is also the last day of the week that you can obtain your marriage license and get married on the same day, as the office is only open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m

The most popular days for weddings in Hawaii are Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve, no matter what day of the week the holiday fall on. April through June and August through October are the busiest months for marriages in Hawaii. March, July and August are the busiest tourist months in Hawaii.

Regardless of which day is best, this is your day, and as long as you're happy, that's all that really matters.  If you're still looking for a Hawaii wedding planner, please give us a call.  We're here to help make your Hawaii wedding perfect.
